1-to-1 Device Program
In order to prepare our students in Preschool through Eighth grade to strive towards excellence, teachers use a variety of devices and resources to develop foundational skills and abilities for 21st-century learners. Technology is used to help students develop effective academic and study skills, communicate and collaborate effectively, and demonstrate responsibility and integrity.
To prepare our students for learning in the 21st Century, students in Grades 4-8 experience a 1-to-1 device program of blended learning. This allows for our students to receive more individualized and differentiated instruction so they can meet and exceed the Common Core Standards requirements.
Students use various digital-based resources to further develop their learning including Accelerated Math and Reading Programs, IXL, Discovery Education Techbooks, McGraw-Hill Wonders & StudySync ELA programs, Newsela and Laudate. Students also use a variety of apps such as iMovie, Notability, Thinglink, and Educreations to demonstrate their learning.
